Three hours and 10km walking this morning, testing out my foot to see if it’s doing ok, whether the osteo helped….
Through the town…
43 km to Paris – the N2 Nanteuil’s new ‘chateau’, the granary next to the station tractors! and other miscellaneous agricultural machinery the hospital, built in 1902, now a residential care home or EHPAD a bench outside the hospital, reflecting on its former glory trains and planes – life moves around Nanteuil the old gives way to the new the old is part of the new – behind where the castle would have been, a doorway that seems to be way above its station – part of the old chateau? the town hall
Into the fields
Through the rain
The weather forecast had predicted 85% chance of rain. Just as I was thinking their percentage was too high…
So I did get wet. The drops were huge and splashy. I felt safe inside my big Camino di Santiago rain cape. The smell of the dry ground getting wet makes me think of gratitude. It was such a joyous watery outburst, I couldn’t help but smile, and I knew I wouldn’t have to be out in it for long anyway, as I was on my way back.
Conclusion? I’m not really sure about my foot. The heel pain seemed to be starting to flare up again. I guess I probably need to see a podologue foot person!!
